The Senior Director of Data Analytics and Insights will lead the sales data analytics team, driving the development and execution of data-driven strategies to optimize sales performance, enhance insights, and support business growth. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical expertise, and strong leadership skills to turn data into actionable insights and drive the sales strategy forward.

A Day in the Life Typically Includes:

• Develop and implement the overall strategy for sales data analytics and insights, aligning with the company’s business objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of data analysts, ensuring high performance and professional development.
• Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of complex data sets to provide actionable insights on sales performance, customer behavior, and market trends.
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to forecast sales trends, identify opportunities, and mitigate risks.
• Develop, establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics
• Work with cross functional partners in sales, marketing, finance, and operations teams to understand data needs and ensure alignment with business objectives. In addition, present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
• Evaluate and implement advanced analytics tools and technologies to enhance the capability of the sales data analytics team that includes ensuring the integrity, accuracy and security of sales data through robust data governance practices.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
• Experience in data analytics tools such as Domo, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Experience communicating, presenting, engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with sales processes or working in a sales role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (or MBA) in Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or a related field.  
• Experience in data analytics, that includes a leadership role.
