Description & Requirements

The Senior HR Director's role is integral to driving our business forward, supporting both our immediate operational needs and long-term strategic vision.

This senior role will provide strategic direction and leadership to the HR and leadership team in the Philippines.  He/She will conduct thorough assessments of the current HR landscape and identify opportunities for optimization and focus on achieving results in a complex and highly matrixed organization.

Role reports to APAC HR VP and will participate in HR projects at a regional / worldwide level. This is a high profile role within an exciting organization that has great ambitions. This role is also a member of the Manila management team.


Essential Duties:
Establish the overall HR Strategy and provide oversight on the initiatives supporting the strategy.
Partner with the leadership team to continually evaluate the human resources strategy and plans to meet changing market, technical and competitive conditions.
Provide consultation and coaching to the Leadership Team on Business Strategies and/or HR Policies and Processes.
Ensure HR Programs are in compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
Understand and articulate key labor / employee relations issues and employment law. Recommends timely actions / changes required to meet business results / strategies.
Oversee the successful implementation of Global HR Programs.
Ensure HR initiatives translate to ROI (based on defined HR Key Performance Indicators) that positively impact the business objectives.
Drive innovation and process improvements within HR to enhance service delivery models in alignment with the changing business requirements.
Acts as escalation point for complex Talent Management cases, Employee cases and complaints both by the employees, managers and the Manila Directors, Onshore Directors, VP’s and SVP’s.
Keep track of the overall pulse of the organization and communicating this on a regular basis to the leadership team.
Foster and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders. Create an environment of partnership and collaboration with other leaders and function both within HR and the company.
Make data-driven recommendations for changes required to enhance org and team effectiveness and efficiency.
Exercise sound judgment and cost management principles to ensure optimal resource allocation.
Drive transformation initiatives to revitalize and energize a team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Leverage previous global company experience to align local HR strategies with broader organizational goals and objectives

Basic Qualifications:
This individual will be an experienced Senior level HR professional from the technology industry, preferably the computer software industry. Ideally you should have worked in a US organization with Bachelor’s degree.
Must have strong commercial acumen and high-level of strategic HR expertise and an understanding across all key HR specialisms.
At least 10 years in a Senior HR Leadership Position to manage over 1,000+ workforce, preferably in a global company.
Deep understanding and hands-on knowledge of multiple HR functions.
Must possess good knowledge of employment law and should display a successful record of leading and delivering change, devising and implementing HR strategies and providing effective advice and influencing decision making at a senior level.
Able to demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to drive initiatives that have ensured people engagement in a scalable organization.
Possess strong influencing and negotiating skills, strong self-motivation and will provide good business and HR partnership ensuring that the business agenda is achieved.
Proven ability to influence at an executive level.
 Not afraid to be hands on when required to do so
Demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing teams. Experience in cultivating a true HRBP team. 
Track record of driving organizational change and transformation.
 Exceptional decision-making skills with a focus on balancing employee engagement, cost management and optimization
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
