Description & Requirements

Job Description

  • Install new features and maintain our Anael Finance iSeries and Windows product to our customer.
  • Participate in functional analysis and user documentation.
  • Perform technical designs, estimations, project planning, developments, tests, and technical documentation.
  • Respect and evolve development specific and quality approach processes.
  • Conduct technological check, share it, and propose improvements to existing or new functions.
  • Could be required to assist customer support, consultants, and pre-sales.
  • Stay informed about legal developments.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally orally and in writing with teams and managers.

Essential Duties 

  • Analysis and Description of the specifications necessary for the realization and maintenance of developments/evolutions on existing products,
  • Business Requirements, Business Cases, Use Cases, etc.
  • Respect the commitments made (Estimate, Deadline, workload) and active participation in the Quality Assurance and test procedures.
  • Functional watch on legal developments in accounting and participates in the renewal of the NF accounting software standard
  • Participate in the writing/updating of user manuals and video presentation media for new features.
  • Might be required to participate in customer support and product communication
  • Communicates clearly and professionally orally and in writing with teams, and managers.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience in developments on iSeries (RPG.ILE, SQL RPGLE, and RPG Free) preferably within a software research and development team.
  • DB2 for IBM iSeries, DDS, SQL language, and good knowledge of AS400.
  • Comfort with the RDI development tool.
  • A customer-oriented approach and good communication skills.
  • Oral and written expression in French & English
  • Flexibility to adapt to work in changing and demanding environments.
  • Comfort working with current technical environments and collaborative tools (Jira, Wiki, ...)

Preferred qualifications

Knowledge of business partners (Yooz, E-Finance, Symtrax, ...)
Experience in C#, VB. Net, Angular framework, HTML5, and CSS would be appreciated for our web modules and Windev
