Description & Requirements

This is a key advisor and business partner role to the SVP Global Managed Services.  As part of the Global Professional Services FP&A and Operations organization you will be responsible for providing meaningful analytics and insight surrounding this $100M global business. 
Infor Managed Services is a $100M global services organisation that sits as part of our Global Professional Services business and our Global Customer Care organization.

This role is to be the key advisor and business partner to the SVP, Global Managed Services; as well as working closely with a global team of operations and finance professionals supporting our Customer Care organization.  This is a broad role which will be a part of the IMS leadership team, responsible for providing meaningful analytics and insight surrounding the business, and helping drive outcomes through business planning, KPI development, process standardization and automation.

You will be part of an extended team of Operations professionals who work with the sales and delivery teams throughout the consulting and customer engagement lifecycle.  You will also work closely with an analytics and reporting team to ensure appropriate macro-level and micro-level reporting and analysis is in place to help the leadership team effectively manage their business based on backward and forward views of KPIs and performance. 
This is a senior individual contributor role for a person who is comfortable working in a matrixed environment drawing support from global shared service functions.  The position reports to, and works closely with, the Global VP Finance & Operations for GPS, and fits within the GPS FP&A and Operations organization.  

This position requires a strong communicator who can lead through coaching, a facilitator for resolving issues or challenges both within the team and between the team and other departments, coordinator of work flow and problem solver.  The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and able to adjust quickly in a rapidly growing and dynamic group.  The candidate must be comfortable and effective in communicating and presenting to senior management.  Superior planning and analytical skills is a must.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advisor and business partner to the SVP Global Managed Services
  • Assist IMS Leadership with the operational management of the IMS business. This includes planning and forecasting, pipeline analysis, application of internal processes and policies, workforce planning and actions along with coordination of operational metrics reporting.
  • Design and review of standard business performance pack, KPIs and reports
  • Work closely with the global operations team to use, and develop, global standardized operational reports, giving more details/context to understand the business performance
  • Preparation of leadership presentations, half and full year business planning, QBRs, forecasting and quarterly and monthly pipeline analysis
  • Support of forecasting and planning at regional/business level, particularly workforce planning
  • Ad hoc reporting & analysis, and provision of support for theatre and other business reviews such as P&L, quarterly MBO Goals and initiatives
  • Act as liaison between various internal departments to solve issues as they arise with both customers and consultants
  • Foster process consistency among sub-regions and help to drive best practices across Europe
  • Represent IMS and Customer Care from an Operations perspective, on global initiatives, as required
  • Acquisition integration when applicable 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Ability to effectively communicate, lead, plan, and help to deliver process improvements and both incremental and transformational change
  • Skilled at dealing with ambiguity and driving clarity as appropriate 
  • Passionate about linking strategic objectives to operational details across a wide range of business areas / topics 
  • Strong presentation skills 
  • The flexibility and willingness to undertake a range of administrative functions competently 

Basic Qualifications

  • Rich background of experience in Operations, Finance or related background within a technology focused or Services company 
  • Exposure to the challenges of working in a matrix, global environment with multiple customers and competing priorities 
  • A people motivator 
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, manage priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Passionate about driving process improvement across the organisation
  • Ability to research issues or problems and develop a balanced solution delegating as necessary 
  • Good Customer Service attitude 
  • Good written and spoken English skills 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some transformational/change management experience 
  • Experience within a Professional Services leadership environment

Work Environment and Physical Demands: 

  • Some travel may be required – up to 10%
