As a Senior Software Engineer for the LX Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and related technologies, you are responsible for delivering high-quality software. You will work within a multidisciplinary development team in close collaboration with other skilled software engineers, QA engineers, architects, and business analysts. You determine your daily tasks in coordination with these colleagues rather than waiting for work to be assigned to you. You will be involved in all aspects of software development and have room to grow professionally.

·       Collaborate with management, departments, and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications.

·       Produce efficient and elegant code based on requirements.

·       Collaborate with other developers and teams to ensure high-quality software and timely delivery.

·       Prepare program documentation of product components.

·       Ensure products conform to design or usability requirements.

·       Perform technical reviews and ensure adherence to standard development practices (coding and testing).

·       Maintain and enhance applications on an ongoing basis.

·       Troubleshoot and debug in customer and QA environments.

·       Optimize performance and scalability as necessary to meet business goals of application and environment.

·       Continuously develops application knowledge in the product suite, technical environment, and technologies.

·       Adhere to standards and is always abreast of the tools and standard operating procedures updates.

• Open to taking on other projects and responsibilities, as necessary.

·       Take initiative in the investigation and implementation of new techniques and tools to improve Infor software.

• Experienced IBM i developer with RPGLE, DB2, SQL, and XML experience.
• Analytical, accurate, and result driven.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Minimum 5 years related experience with a Bachelor or Master technical degree, preferably Computer Science or other technical education.
• Finance, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Management domain knowledge is preferred.
• Experience in Java is a plus.
