Beschrijving & Vereisten

We are looking for a Senior SQL Server and Postgres Database Administrator to help manage a large enterprise fleet in the cloud.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

PowerShell and T-SQL programming and Execution
SQL Server Database Administration and Performance-Tuning
Experience with Postgres Administration and Linux
Hands-on experience with AWS services like RDS/Aurora and experience in Database Migrations from SQL Server to AWS/Aurora is an added advantage.
Participation in DevOps related processes
Windows O.S. management and Tuning
Backup and Recovery tasks
Capacity planning
Problem Resolution

Basic Qualifications:

SQL Server, Microsoft Windows, Postgres & Linux. This includes backups, recovery, and tuning
Programming/Scripting skills with PowerShell, Python, Bash, Perl or other scripting languages
T-SQL skills
Postgres Administration and Linux Experience
Experience in automating database management tasks
Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Amazon Web Services or Azure or other cloud platforms
Experience with Storage systems
Experience with Networks
