Infor is looking for a talented Product Manager to join our Infor Discrete Manufacturing (LN) product team as we build momentum for adopting new technologies for our discrete manufacturing customers. The role is within the PM team of Industry Product managers but

tightly integrated into Infor’s Technology platform (InforOS) product management team.

As a member of the dedicated product team, you will work closely with customers, Product Management, Business Analysts, Support, Marketing, and Sales teams to bring value to our customers and partners.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the execution of our ambitious product roadmap and helping drive our product through Infor’s release management process.

This technical PM role Includes:

-       Oversee the adoption of Technology and Innovation services and products across the Discrete Manufacturing Industry Applications, to provide industry specific use cases and differentiation

-       Work with other industry PMs in the group to determine where technology adoption will help our customers

-       Document requirements for technology adoption in various part of the Cloud suite

-       Drive the roadmap for these requirements together with the other team members-

-       Increase understanding of the complete tech stack including emerging tech (GenAI, AI/ML, etc)

-       Increase understanding of role of the Infor ERPs and other applications sold to the Discrete Manufacturing companies

-       Increase understanding of the Discrete manufacturing business needs, expectations, competitors, and emerging trends

-       Assist sales in key accounts and overall technical messaging

-       Be a point of contact between Technology platform and Discrete Manufacturing applications

-       Work with BU strategy and application development teams on joint customer facing roadmaps that include platform technology

-       Gathering feedback and conducting user research to ensure user adoption and satisfaction.

-       Create and manage Product SKU’s and pricing with the Product Management.

-       Develop internal and external communication materials to customers, communicating product releases and critical updates.

-       Review incoming customer issues with the Business Analysts and Support.

-       Manage customer enhancement requests in your domain.

In addition, the Product Management team help and supports product marketing, which involves:

-       Assisting with creating and driving a product marketing roadmap from a new technology perspective.

-       Gather marketing requirements from our channel partner marketing teams.

-       Work with our Infor marketing team to support them with product specific knowledge.

-       Social media coordination, posting and managing content on various social platforms.

What You Will Need:

-        3+ years of experience in business analysis, product management or other software-related positions

-       Ability to work on both technology and industry specific challenges

-       Ability to translate business problems into easily understood technology solutions.

-       Understanding of truly differentiating technologies.

-       Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to communicate in German is a plus.

-       Experience with discrete manufacturing solutions within larger enterprises

-       Enthusiasm and ability to collaborate well with others, including remote teams.

-       An ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

-       Proven product management and organizational skills

-       Strong problem-solving skills.

-       Confidence and desire to present in front of customers and Infor resellers.

What Will Put You Ahead?

-       Experience with Enterprise, SaaS and/or web platform software development lifecycle a big plus.

-       An understanding of new emerging technologies and the market conditions

-       An understanding of Discrete Manufacturing

-       Ability to understand end-user requirements and have knowledge of how users work with software.

-       Experience of delivering software in the cloud.
