Description & Requirements

A member of the Global Field Marketing & Campaign team and reporting to the Vice President of Global Customer Marketing, the Director, Customer Marketing will contribute to building a new, world class customer marketing organization focused on delivering programming and content that increases customer engagement and fosters loyalty and advocacy.

As the customer domain expert in their region – as well as a visible leader across the Infor marketing team globally – the successful candidate will put the customer at the center of all their work, leading the development, launch, and optimization of key customer content and advocacy programs supporting Infor’s growth goals.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Design and launch customer engagement strategy and programs tailored to Infor’s top customers, delivering high-value engagements, uncovering new opportunities, and deepening executive relationships.
  • Utilize data-driven insights and metrics to measure the effectiveness of customer marketing programs and optimize strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Direct the global customer content strategy in their region, focusing on storytelling that is relatable and emphasizes the business value our customers achieve with Infor, and scale our customer story pipeline and impact.
  • Work with Infor’s Reference Team to recruit and onboard customer reference contacts, helping them see the benefits of participating, and providing
  • exceptional experiences across speaking engagements, videos, references, and campaigns.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure strategies are aligned with business priorities and to ensure support from extended teams to drive awareness and amplification of stories.
  • Develop and nurture strategic relationships with customers, ensuring mutual benefits and standout experiences. Develop tight relationships with sellers and customer success managers for account connection.
  • Produce a dynamic library of customer stories in various formats, from case studies and blogs to videos and sales enablement tools, continuously promoting the success we achieve for our customers.
  • Ensure customer marketing strategies align with go-to-market plays and corporate goals and exemplify the positive attributes of being a cross-functional strong leader, team player and synergies builder.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in technology marketing (B2B SaaS preferred), including leading a team, with experience working directly in a customer-facing marketing role. 
  • Experience working with customer and internal executives, sales, product management, and marketing teams to develop and implement marketing initiatives.
  • Experience working with brand customers to engage in customer advocacy, including ability to navigate internal customer requirements for communications and legal approval.
  • Experience in marketing project planning and campaign implementation.  
  • Understanding of marketing, sales and communications priorities and ability to deliver  customer stories.
  • Experience developing and managing a budget.
  • Experience with marketing & sales technology including Pardot, Demandbase, Gainsight, SFDC is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior software industry experience.
