The VP Solution Consulting is responsible for delivering Infor cloud showcases (demonstrations) that are aligned with the customer’s / prospect’s strategic business objectives and convey why Infor is differentiated in creating mutual value with customers in the healthcare industry. Managing a team of 30+, the VP Solution Consulting will provide clarity on the business benefits that Infor cloud delivers for the healthcare industry.
They will be responsible for growing customer and prospect confidence through relationship and knowledge of today’s healthcare challenges, the related opportunities, and the supporting cloud innovations for healthcare providers.
The VP Solution Consulting will progress key metrics of profitability, cloud license bookings growth, and win rates in Infor’s healthcare cloud business.
A day in the life typically includes:
- Be accountable for the results of Infor’s healthcare solution consulting (SC) team, ensuring they illustrate what is unique about Infor’s healthcare cloud through the language of business outcomes, persona productivity and value.
- Be an experienced leader with the skills to lead a large cross functional team of healthcare and enterprise software professionals, aligning with Infor’s Vision and strategy map.
- Attract diversity in SC talent and skills for an advantage in creativity.
- Proactively experiment across team lines to create demo differentiation vs competitors.
- Continuously promote learning.
- Lead the team to uncover and document customer metrics, challenges and opportunities through value-led discovery.
- Be accountable for the teams execution of customer event strategy, orchestration, and cloud solution showcases that put Infor's unique capabilities together with client value proof point or realization examples.
- Materially influence Infor product and services improvements through cross department leadership alignment, relationship, and agreed initiatives for customer time-to-value improvements.
- Identify and recommend change and investments that would transform the value-led customer journey with Infor and help to better enable prospects to choose Infor.
- Experiment, apply and adopt new technologies that increase effectiveness and efficiency
Required skills:
- Proven experience in managing directors, managers, and solution consultants in an enterprise software industry environment.
- Have knowledge and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning software, or complex enterprise Cloud / Saas solutions.
- Have leadership qualities of that embrace ‘openness’, as well as be a positive ‘bottom up’ culture builder where creativity, transformation and experimentation is foundational.
- Solid understanding and experience in the healthcare provider industry.
- Strategic, visionary thinker with ability to understand industry and technology trends and how they impact the customer’s business
- Ability to determine strategy and build tactical plans that deliver tangible results.
