Infor is seeking a Senior Marketing Demand Generation Manager to lead a global team of world class marketers. This role is critical in reaching the marketing pipeline goals set by Infor, aligned to the sales revenue targets. This person will be responsible for working cross-functionally with sales, business development, strategy, and central marketing teams to execute persona-centric integrated marketing programs for new business and expanded business within our customer base. The ideal candidate will have a strategic, results-driven mindset with a proven ability to maintain successful relationships with sales and translate business needs to marketing program and pipeline. They are resourceful inside and outside the company, committed to continuous improvement, and passionate about demand generation.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Develop cohesive demand generation plans that partner with sales to generate measurable pipeline.
- Review and report on pipeline build and progression and establish a regular reporting cadence with marketing and sales counterparts.
- Identify the most effective marketing vendors, media channels, and calls-to-action for the industry. Advise on campaign concept and creative development to ensure effectiveness for the industry.
- Work with internal creative, digital, events, and operations teams on the execution of strategic marketing campaigns across a broad mix of tactics that achieve pipeline goals, including, but not limited to: paid and organic digital, email, events, webinars, PPL, and vendor evaluation sites.
- Proactively propose and manage social media campaigns and content to boost engagement and visibility within the industry.
- Interlock with industry Business Development team to create consistent experience from marketing through outbound prospecting campaigns.
- Collaborate and partner with key sales and business stakeholders to increase impact of marketing programs.
- Deliver regular communication to the field regarding program information, updates, expected involvement and access to promotional materials.
- Work with partners to maximize program reach and potential.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in field marketing/demand generation.
- Knowledge and experience executing modern marketing channels, including but not limited to events, conferences, webinars, email, direct mail and digital advertising.
- Ability to think strategically, prioritize tasks, and execute with attention to detail.
- Energetic, high performer with a willingness to take initiative and be resourceful.
- Creative thinker who is adept at working on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable adding new ideas.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in communicating with senior level sales directors.
- Note: Some travel may be required.
